Peter Pan
I was kind of shocked by the play, it followed the book very well, but it did not really follow the Disney movie. There was a lot of technology used in this play, most obviously the flying system used for Peter, Wendy, John, and Micheal. I was disappointed that that the flying was only side to side, I thought it would be different. The lighting in Peter Pan was crucial for many reasons. The character Tinkerbell was entirely represented by light.

I agree with what you wrote. I thought the fly system was going to be different also. I also agree that it didn't follow the movie as well as the book but I really enjoyed the play. Except I thought Tinker Bell's light should have been a laser point. I think you captured the play and its aspects well.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I liked the Disney movie more! I thought that Tinkerbell should be a real person, not just a light. Anyways I thought it would have been a lot different though. But I still really liked it!
ReplyDeleteIt is always interesting when you see something performed that is so well known in another format.
